Architectural Glass Artist - Andrew Moor Associates - Tel: +44(0)20 7586 8181

AMA designs and manufactures architectural glass art for the built environment. We create public art as well as private and corporate glass artworks. We also offer a specialist glass consulting service, giving detailed technical advice on how best to use glass to integrate art and architecture and create art commissions that are integrated into the fabric of a building and the built environment.

Interventions to glass facades can achieve multiple goals, including solving glare and solar gain problems, creating corporate identity, satisfying planning authorities, creating urban landmarks and so on. Andrew Moor can advise on glass artists, how to optimise the result, which technique is more suited, the varying cost implications, technical options and design and aesthetic possibilities.

Glass Wine Cabinet Bespoke Glass Wine Cabinets Glass Wine Cabinets / Glass Wine Racks

These are refrigerated and can be illuminated with a single light source or a strip of LED lights for each shelf. Mirrors can be used at the back and sides to enhance the lighting effects. We have recently installed one that holds 1,000 bottles of wine. These bespoke glass wine cabinets / wine bottle racks work brilliantly in both a commercial / restaurant, bar, hotel or in a residential setting.

Other special elements can be added to the wine cabinets / wine racks such as mirrored doors or adding images to any part of the glass to make the wine cabinet as much of a work of art as it is a unique bespoke wine storage space.

Cladding panels John Lewis Newbury   The cladding panels for the new John Lewis At Home store in Newbury (shown left), which opened in April, create the effect of soft curtains shielding a mysterious interior, despite being part of the cladding over solid walls.

Andrew Moor Associates recently completed designs for a 12m tall glass ‘pyramid’ for Port Baku, in Azerbaijan.

Currently, we are in the last two weeks of installing a 1,000 bottle, illuminated and refridgerated glass wine-rack at The Vineyard Hotel, Newbury.

A beautiful front door and glass ‘fence’ , designed by the artist Peter Blake, has been installed by Andrew Moor Associates for a private house in Islington.
